Did anyone believe the outcome of this game would be any different. The Sixers actually led at halftime and then managed only 32 points in the 2nd half. The Sixers defense was not good: allowing 59% from the field, and 63.5% from 3-land.

  • Once again the 76ers found themselves behind by double digits. Like most games this year, the young squad fought hard to come back. This time the result was a win. The Sixers got contributions from many players. Dalembert scored 19 and had a key block in the final run. Andre Miller led the team in scoring with 26. Louis Williams was the bench spark again, scoring 18 and dishing 6 assists. One thing I see night after night that hurts my brain - Reggie Evans is so bad on the offensive end. In 2008 he’s shooting 7 for 31 (22.6%). His shots come right under the basket for the most part! He’s also shooting 45% from the free throw line. Dalembert dunks over Yao - (AP Photo/David J. The 76ers are struggling, this is clear. I’ll start with the good news. Dalembert continues his solid play. Two games in a row he’s pulled down 20 rebounds. Willie Green (I always give free Willie a hard time when he has bad games) played great, 21 points on 8 of 12 shooting and 4 rebounds. The bad news - everyone else played so so. The bench only mustered 18 points. Somehow the 76ers were in this game until the end. Unfortunately, Ginobili shot the 76ers right out of it. Dalembert in the 4th - (AP Photo/Eric Gay)

In attendance news. In the last four home games, 2 with Korver, and two without: the Korver effect is -9243. I will give you this much, the two before he left were the Lakers and Miami (two large draw teams).

Once again the 76ers lose a close, hard fought game. After leading by 15 in the 2nd the 76ers found a way to allow 55 in the 2nd half to a Bulls team averaging just 94.2 points per game. Dalembert had another big game, pulling down 20 rebounds and scoring 21 points. If Sammy could only stay consistent at this level, things would be different. In 9 of the last 22 games Dalembert has been solid, with double doubles - hitting 15+ rebounds 5 times, and 15+ points 8 times. In the other games, Sammy has been awful - 6 or less rebounds 4 times, and 6 or less points 6 times. He is statistically having his best year ever, but if he wants to remain the future of the 76ers at center, consistency is the key. Andre Miller, 1 on 4 - (AP Photo/Rusty Kennedy)

  • Redd is out and the 76ers still can’t be one of the worst teams in the league. The lone bright spot is Dalembert: 16 points, 16 rebounds. Willie Green continues to jack up bricks like a madman (avg 12.5 attempts per game).

A.I. is A.I. No one else, not Iggy, not Andre. Iverson once again displayed his innate ability to put the ball in the hole, dropping 38 points all while dishing 8 assists. Iguodala has a solid, but quiet game. Andre Miller contines to showcase his skills, putting up 21 attempts, 6 assists, and 3 steals. He must really want to be traded.

  • In his first game with the Jazz Korver had the opportunity to ice the game for his new team. He did just that, making 4 of 5 free throws to finish the game and get the Jazz the W. Korver played 11 minutes and scored 14 points. The 76ers were a -12 in bench scoring. Korver for the Jazz - (AP Photo/Douglas C. Pizac)

  • I’ve said it before, here it goes again. This is a lucky group. Once again the 76ers caught a team in shambles. Rookie of the Year, Kevin Durant is out hurt, Chris Wilcox is out, Luke Ridnour also out. The Sixers get the win. Louis Williams came off the bench and played solid, netting 19 points. The whole Sixers team shot well, almost 50% from the field. The key difference for the Sixers came on the free thrown line: 36 to 11. The flash Gordan era is upon us. Giricek played 14 minutes, scored 6 (only missing 1 of 3 attempts) and didn’t look foolish. He’s already done more than I expected.
