The 76ers finally got their first win of the preseason (now 1-4) against the Boston Celtics: 76ers 96 - Celtics 78. Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce sat out, but a win is a win, right? The whole team played reasonably well. Jason Smith had his best game yet, grabbing 9 rebounds and scoring 16 points. The only problem with that is this: the Celtics didn’t have anyone over 6′ 9″ on the court all night. Jason Smith is 7′ tall. Reggie Evans didn’t make a field goal again, putting him at 0-16 in preseason. Kover didn’t miss a 3 and the 76ers had 6 people in double figure scoring. Louis Williams only played 17 minutes, but his numbers look good. Jason Smith battles for rebound - (AP Photo/Fred Beckham)
